課程概述

This course is a general physics course. It will cover "mechanics, vibration and waves, thermal physics, electromagnetism, optics, solid state physics, quantum physics, particle physics(optional)". I would like to spend more time on modern physics. The first semester will cover "mechanics, vibration/waves, thermal physics and some electromagnetism". The second semester will cover the rest. 

課程目標
 To establish a general understanding of basic physics at undergraduate level. Learn basic physics problem solving techniques. Make connection to chemistry when appropriate. 
課程要求
 A good grasp of high school physics. Some basic ability of calculus. An inquisitive mind.
